Before setting out to put your waverunner in the water you may consider checking the fuel line. Run your fingers up and down the fuel line. Check for cracks. After completing this do the same for the cooling lines. If your waverunner has sit over the winter than it will have some cobwebs, dust and other debris. Give your waverunner a general cleaning and particularly the exhaust, make for sure it is entirely clear. Spark plugs on your waverunner are very vulnerable to moisture. Check for rust. Dust is the main enemy in the carburetor. Be sure to remove any dust to ensure that your engine is not damaged. If you are getting ready for your first time of putting your waverunner in the water, empty the fuel in the tank and put some fresh fuel through the engine. You might find that some areas are clogged. Hopefully, running the new fuel through will dislodge these. If the clogged areas need an extra bit of work, try adding some Sta-Bil to give it an extra going over. Be sure to follow a maintenance regime after every trip and you should have a fun and exciting time each time you are on the water.
